Pictures: "Lego Attic" Phase 1

We finally have a LEGO room! Since it is summer, our building urges are reduced (plus the attic tends to warm up quickly). We did, however, start unpacking boxes and created a floor plan.

Click on the images for more detail of Phase 1.

The track is O-shaped. The opening on the right will be spanned by two train bridges.

Non-LEGO storage in the back (mostly empty boxes), LEGO storage in the front.

These are the only sets that haven't been built yet.

The gray boxes on the left contain trains, the tubs with the red lids have mostly sorted bricks in them.

The Century Skyway is visible on the right. At a later stage, this airport needs to be beefed up. The front is set up to be the rural area (think corn and grain silos).

The first aid booth still needs to be built, the soccer players need to be rescued from their packaging, and the stands need to be filled with spectators.

The McDonald's, based on similar online designs, will form the center of the commercial zone. In the middle section, the downtown area will arise. The back area has been reserved for a race track.

The LEGO light still has to be put up
